We are proud to announce that we have secured sponsorship from high profile retail giant 'The Range' for the 2024 event and moving forward.

Chris Dawson, founder and chairman, the mogul behind these brands is an ex-rider and life long hardcore motocross fan - he hasn't missed one VMXdN meeting and has been so impressed with the standard of the Vets events he immediately wanted to get involved to help elevate the promotion and professionalism.

The Range is a huge retailer, selling great brands in all areas of the home, garden & leisure sector including everyday consumables such as food, cleaning, and laundry products; most stores also have a huge Iceland food store within.

Late last year The Range acquired the brand of the much loved, value retailer Wilko and are rapidly opening Wilko stores as well as having launched their on-line platform www.wilko.com which sells a huge amounts of original and popular Wilko products across gardening, pets, DIY, paint, and much more.

It is clear that thousands of the everyday motocross community will be familiar with and shop with these brands, and we are delighted at what a great fit their new sponsor is to the sport; especially considering Chris Dawson's life long affiliation with the sport.

The Range will support the event across the board and will be a huge boost in helping promote Farleigh Castle Vets MX - especially with their massive social media presence. They will also be having event promotions in store with a specific range of MX related items.

During the build up to the event, The Range will provide a Farleigh Castle Vets MX 'event specific' click and collect offer, where people can order on-line and then collect from the 'on-site' Range collection truck at the Farleigh Castle circuit. There will also be goods available to buy on the day, such as camping chairs, tables, air beds, pop up tents, BBQs, picnic products and much more.

Promoters Dave King and Rob "DocWob" Walters travelled to the Range Global headquarters down in Plymouth back in March to seal the deal with Chris Dawson and his corporate chiefs. Reporting that "It was quite an eye opener!  The HQ was huge, the nerve centre that controls everything from its vast store network, to its multi-brand online platforms that sell to 27 Countries across Europe as well as the UK."

"The Range, and Wilko are huge High Street stores accessed daily across the county by hundreds of thousands and it’s a huge honour to have the support of such huge brands for a UK motocross event” Dave King expressed. Rob ‘DocWob’ Walters continued, “Their HQ is impressive, and the sheer scale of the business eye watering. It's incredible to have the support of such a household name brand for Farleigh Castle Vets MX 2024 and beyond! With their help the future is looking very bright indeed. To say we are excited is an understatement!"
